South Eastern Geophysical Limited (SEG) is a New Zealand owned and operated seismic acquisition company and is fully compliant to all New Zealand Tax, Employment and Insurance requirements.
South Eastern Geophysical Limited senior partners Nick Holding and Terry Rothery have over 50 years seismic experience between them.
They have conducted seismic surveys in over 25 countries from the Deep South American Jungle to the vast Sahara Desert; comprising of 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional Seismic Surveys; and have a vast knowledge of source and receiver configurations to meet our client’s objectives.
Since SEG commencement in 2008, we have conducted 16 seismic survey projects in New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea, tag replica consisting of 2 Dimensional, 3 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional RVSP Seismic Surveys.
SEG owns all equipment listed under the recording section. SEG also has a Master Lease Agreement in place with Mitcham Industries (the largest supplier of rental seismic equipment worldwide), for which extra recording equipment can be sourced for large 3 dimensional projects. SEG places great importance on the health and safety of all personnel involved in and the local community affected by our seismic operations. SEG fully understands and complies with the Health and Safety Act 1992. Similarly SEG makes considerable effort to ensure that it minimises the environmental impact associated with seismic operations.
The SEG Health Safety and Environment Program is an ongoing system that accommodates the constantly changing situation in the work place and is aimed at maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
SEG is responsible for the supervision of its personnel to ensure they adhere to all relevant safety requirements set down by law or the Company.
